This notice explains what personal information Atom Media collects through atom-media.co.uk, why, and what you can do about it. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Who we are
Atom Media is a marketing agency based in the Lake District, UK. For any privacy question, email hello@atom-media.co.uk.
What we collect
- Enquiries. When you use our contact form we receive your name, email address, and anything else you choose to tell us, such as your business name, website, budget and message.
- Emails. If you email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever you send.
- Website statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are popular. It does not use cookies and does not identify you.
We don’t use advertising cookies or tracking pixels on this website.
Why we use it
We use your enquiry details only to reply to you and, if you become a client, to provide our services. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, or taking steps at your request before entering a contract. We don’t sell your information or add you to marketing lists without asking.
Who else handles it
- Cloudflare hosts this website and provides the visit statistics.
- Web3Forms passes contact form submissions to our inbox.
- Microsoft 365, provided through GoDaddy, hosts our email.
- Google Fonts supplies the fonts on this site, so your browser connects to Google’s servers to load them.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they use legal safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for up to two years, or longer if you become a client, where records are needed for accounting and legal reasons.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email hello@atom-media.co.uk and we’ll respond within one month. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
